About Me
I am a kindergarten teacher in Southern New Mexico. I grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas and moved West 20 years ago to be with my husband. We have twins that are 11 years old. They are growing up way to fast. I have worked in Developmental Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th and even a multiage K-2 classroom in the past. I have a bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minored in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University. Needless to say, I did not know what I wanted to do yet. After working for the state for a couple years, I went back to school for a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am loving where I am at and work with an amazing kindergarten team.
