We just finished out our year! It is amazing how fast that went by and all we have learned. I was cleaning out my bookshelf and found a "all about me" book I made in 4th grade. I enjoyed looking back at it and the things I liked almost 30 years ago. For example, favorite TV Shows Bill Cosby, Air Wolf, Little House on the Prairie and Moon Lighting (why on earth was I allowed to watch Moon Lighting at my age who knows?) Anyways it was amusing, so of course I want my students to create something they will enjoy looking back at in years to come here are some snapshots of the pages we did.
We wrote about our favorite things.
We weighed, measured and wrote about ourselves.
We also made a timeline of our year of the different things we studied. We then wrote about our favorite units of study.
The students also had fun making mini-me's
We wrote about favorite books, summer plans, likes/dislikes and more but I think the favorite was the Autographs page. They had everyone sign it and made trips to the office to signatures there too.
